AKOKO ANGLICAN DIOCESE GETS A NEW BISHOP AS ARCHBISHOP AKINBIYI RETIRES

At the ongoing retirement of The Most Revd. G. A. Akinbiyi, M.Th (London) from the Diocese of Akoko after spending 11 years of fruitful Evangelical Work and steering of the Ship of the Diocese.  In an Election of the Primate, Archbishops and Bishops which was held at Agbahar Ottor, Delta State on the 21st August, 2019, a successor was elected and translated the Rt. Revd. J.O.B. Bada as the next Bishop of the Diocese of Akoko (Anglican Communion), his news of translation was received warmly by Akoko people.  We pray that the good Lord will be with him, Mama Akoko and their children as they resume work on the 6th December, 2019.   Long live Bishop Bada!  Long live Akoko Anglican Diocese!!
